I was worried the 1/2 x 2 inch size would be too small, but they hold thick sections of hair just fine. The cellulose acetate feels smooth and sturdy, and the raspberry shade is prettier in person than on screen.

These little scallop clips are solidly made from that cellulose acetate, so they don’t feel flimsy like some plastic ones I’ve tried. I was a bit worried about the 2-inch length, but it grips my fine hair perfectly without slipping. Honestly, for six of them, the price feels fair.

The half-inch width is perfect for holding back my finer strands without looking bulky, and the raspberry color is such a pretty pop against my dark hair. I ordered two packs to hit the minimum and six clips means I can finally stop digging through my drawer for a matching set.
