The acetate has a really pretty weight to it, not flimsy at all, and the bluebell shape is just the right size for my fine hair. It's held up through a full day of work without slipping, which is more than I can say for most clips I've tried.
The little clasp is sturdy and holds even my toddler's baby-fine hair without slipping, which is rare. I've had it in her hair for a full day at the park and it still looks as pretty as when we left the house. The size is perfect for little heads, and the acetate feels smooth, not cheap.
