The cellulose acetate feels substantial, not flimsy, and the vintage-inspired shape is even prettier in person than in the photos. It’s dainty but the French clasp barrette grips my fine hair securely all day without slipping.
The acetate has a lovely subtle shimmer in the light, and the gold clasp is sturdy enough to hold my thick hair all day. It feels like a little piece of vintage elegance for everyday wear.
Opened the box and the Glacier color actually looks more elegant in person than on screen. The 1" by 2.5" size is perfect for pulling back a section of hair without being too heavy. It feels well-made and the gold clasp holds tight all day.
