The clasp on this barrette is surprisingly sturdy for such a delicate-looking piece, and the milk glass has that lovely soft vintage glow the photos promised. Even my fine hair stays put all day.
I was a little nervous about the sizing, but the 1" x 2.5" overall footprint is perfect for my fine hair — it holds without slipping. The cellulose acetate has a lovely weight to it, not flimsy at all. The vintage butterfly detail is even more delicate in person.
