The Liberty of London cotton lawn feels so smooth and breathable against her skin, even on warm days. I love that the 3-inch knot stays put without being heavy, and the 1.25-inch band is wide enough to not dig into her little head.
The bow is a perfect 3 inches—big enough to make a statement but not so huge it flops on a newborn. I got the small for my 2-month-old and the 12"-16" stretch fits her head just right, and the cotton lawn feels airy for summer.
