The cellulose acetate has such a lovely vintage sheen, and the clasp snaps shut with a satisfying click that holds even my thickest sections. It's dainty in person but not flimsy—worth the wait for the mid-January delivery.

The gold French clasp feels properly weighty, and the cellulose acetate wings have a lovely subtle sheen that catches light without looking fake. I've worn it to two dinners already and it stayed put through both.
