The linen covering feels sturdier than those plastic ones I've tried, and the 10mm width is slim enough that my daughter forgets she's wearing it. We've both worn it all day and it hasn't slipped once, which is rare for our heads. It's a keeper.

The 10mm width is just right—doesn't dig in even after wearing it all afternoon at the park. My daughter's 4-year-old head is on the smaller side, but the fit works for her, and I can borrow it too. Only wish the linen had a bit more give, though it's held its shape fine so far.
